Oracle Arena, Oakland, CA. – Grunge pioneers, Pearl Jam, brought their flannel-powered rock and roll show to the Oracle Arena in Oakland, CA. last night in support of their new album entitled “Lightning Bolt”.

As usual…Pearl Jam didn’t disappoint. With a stomping 37 song set [really?…who does this??!!], they mixed up new material with old as well as a barrage of cover songs…and a special guest…John Doe from the punk band “X”.
Plenty of photogs on hand for this one as was to be expected. They had us crammed into the photo pit and anchored either stage left or right. No switching sides. No lateral movement. Video tracks and camera operators brushed by us repeatedly. The lighting was all over the place on this one…both uneven and dark at times. I think I pulled a decent set based on where I landed in the pit to shoot. It was hard to get good shots of certain band members as you can see. Until next time…
