Masonic Center, San Francisco, CA. – Chris Cornell stopped by the Masonic Center in San Francisco recently for an acoustic performance.
Check out my review in photos…
This was my second time shooting Cornell acoustic and third time overall. He has such an amazing voice…strong, throaty and powerful. He’s always in such good spirits and eager to share his stories and music with his audience…and this night was no different. Cornell hit the stage to a warm greeting as he shook hands with his fans in the front. He talked about his love of music and wanting to share some with us. He had a record player off to the side where he promptly dropped the needle and grabbed the mic. Song 3 treated us to a first time played “(Sittin’ On) The Dock Of The Bay” by Otis Redding. The evening was composed of songs from Cornell’s vast catalog/bands. Regrettably I had to leave after the third song for another engagement. This show looks like a winner for sure!
