Hammerstein Ballroom, NYC. – Seattle rockers, Band Of Horses stopped by the Hammerstein Ballroom last week to do a couple of special shows. The first being an intimate acoustic performance [to which no press was allowed] followed up by a full electric performance in the huge sold out main space. They are on tour in support of their latest album entitled “Mirage Rock”.
The last time I saw these guys, they were opening up for My Morning Jacket at Madison Square Garden last December. They’ve come a long way since then.
The lighting tonight was decent and better at other times. The band is very energetic and playful so overall it meshed well.
